The Kentucky Post Picks Up On Our Broker's Interview About "Lying Listings"

A writer for Bankrate.com interviewed our company President Jon Boyd one or two months back for an piece he had been working on on the subject of home purchase language.

In particular, the theme was stuff seller's real estate people will say about their listings to try to grab the attention of home buying consumers. Hint: They are not always true.

These phrases were collected from our national association (naeba.org) and the are absolutely authentic.

Here is what you want to consider:

If a real estate agent customarily directs words like these to buyers, why would you ever want somebody like at being your buyer's agent or designated buyer's agent?

Just a thought to ponder as you search for Canton area real estate.

On the topic of buyer agents and loan choices ...

Here is a question to ask a buyer agent you might be interviewing: "How many of your past clients used option ARMS to buy houses?"

The answer should be zero.

Option ARMS were never a good choice because they were too risky. No buyers in our Ann Arbor buyer agent office ever chose an option ARM after we had a frank discussion about the negative aspects.

However based on the number of home buyers that are suffering with them right now it is clear that a lot of those buyers didn't get good advice from their "buyer agent".

Canton Real Estate Buyer's Agent Profiled in Business Review

As one of the only Exclusive Buyer's Agents who works in the Canton area I was interviewed a couple weeks ago for an Executive Profile. Specifically because I am the President of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer's Agents this year. (See http://naeba.org for more information.)

If you are looking at hiring a buyer's agent to buy a Canton home you might find this interesting. Here is a link to the article:
